Who I AM

I am a qualified Ayurvedic Clinician and Yoga Therapist and have been studying and practising holistic and complementary medicine for over thirty years.

I started my journey in health and wellness as an NHS Audiologist in the 1980’s, before becoming a Yoga teacher in 2002. My experiences drew me further into studying the holistic nature of complementary medicine, in particular how Yoga Therapy can help mitigate many modern ailments with lifestyle and dietary interventions you can do for yourself.

Becoming an Ayurvedic Clinician allowed me to integrate this powerful approach to physical and mental wellbeing into my Yoga Therapy teaching, empowering clients to benefit from a holistic, natural and accessible approach.

I am an experienced yoga teacher with a Yoga Scotland teaching diploma and am a qualified SSYT Yoga Therapist (Dip. YT). I also have diploma in Clinical Ayurveda (Dip. Ayu). Aside from originating the BodyWalk technique, I am a reiki master/teacher, Emotional Freedom Technique trainer, Emotrance trainer, Endorphin Effect trainer, intuitive Chakra worker, and swimming teacher (and former lifeguard!). BA (Hons) MSc.
